About This Lesson

This simulation has students adopt up to 30 different roles and act out a presidential campaign. The Roles are: Candidates, campaign managers, senior policy advisors, speechwriters, media outlets, swing states, interest groups, and fact checkers. You can take away roles if your class is smaller OR add more fact-checkers if your class is larger. The students schedule meetings with each other, conduct interviews, write reports, and act out many events in a campaign season.
