About This Lesson
The French and Indian War, known as the Seven Years' War, was fought from 1754-1763. American colonists fought alongside Great Britain and certain Native American tribes against France and other Native American tribes. The end of the war provided Great Britain additional colonies in North American and around the world. The war also affected the American colonies relationship with Great Britain.
