Freedom to teach means that teachers are respected as professionals and viewed as experts in their field.

Teachers are trusted to make decisions about their students that will effectively support all aspects of their learning including academic, problem solving, communication, creative thinking, <br>and and social and emotional skills.

Yes! Respect for expertise is the element that encourages all the things teachers do on a daily basis. Treat teachers like you treat doctors, lawyers, and ceos. Much of the general public listens to their doctor without question, why not give the same respect to those you've entrusted with your child's academic/life success?
