Freedom to teach means we can present the material in a way we feel will best be learned by the student.
It also means trusting the teacher is doing their job without needing additional data to be gathered by the teacher to justify learning and growth. The grades and district tests should show if they are understanding the material.

It is important to give teachers the trust and freedom to lead their classroom, and not rely on misleading data to measure a teachers performance. Thank you for sharing!
