About This Webinar

This has been the most challenging school year most of us have ever experienced—from the lack of consistent safety guardrails and guidance, to the dearth of resources, to the pitfalls of hybrid and remote learning.

As part of the AFT’s ongoing commitment to provide information and resources to help educators meet the needs of students during the pandemic, we are inviting you to a follow-up to our Sept. 12 online symposium. Join AFT President Randi Weingarten for continued discussions on the challenges created by COVID.

Lots of great resources and web links. Nice that teachers shared their experiences. I didn't like the extended political commentary.

Good information. Thank you

Good information. Thank you for offering this. I wasn't able to download the PD certificate of completion, even though I had completed all of the polls, etc. At the end, when there was a prompt to "rate" the webcast, I clicked on it and it brought me to the page where I would have to register to watch the recorded webinar.

Good sharing of resources.

Good sharing of resources. Some advice was a little too general to be helpful. I couldn't download my certificate afterwards, though I answered all the polls and the survey! :(

I thought everything was great except too much time talking politics. I wanted to get more resources and other teacher' s ideas on how to engage students while teaching online.

The part about building

The part about building community and making sure students are heard was useful and meaningful--favorite phrase--SEL correlates with academic achievement! Excellent! I, too, would have liked it to have been nonpartisan (though Betsy Devos should hurry up and take a hike). I also could not download the certificate, or see, hear or fill out the polls, alas.
