Looking forward to attending Randi Weingarten’s Keynote: The State of Public Education 2021?

What are you most looking forward to learning? If you already attended the event, what was something you learned about the state of public education? What questions do you still have following the webinar?

I am writing you as a California Retired Teacher concerning the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and Government Pension Offset. (GPO). It is my understanding that if my husband dies before me, I will get very little or none of his social security. This is unfair to many public employees in 15 states. I worked 40 years while raising a family and putting my husband through college so he could learn a living. Now we are both retired and he is a 5 year cancer survivor. WEP and GPO are very unfair and need to be repealed. Rodney Davis introduced H.R 82 to do this and I ask for your support and that you encourage both Republicans and Democrats to support this bill. Also, there is no place to email you on topics not listed on the Secretary of Education site. Do you have an email you recommend?
