I am very interested in attending "Teaching Media Literacy in a Time of Misinformation." Students find information all over the internet it is so important to help them decipher it and determine the credibility of their sources.

I am most excited about this webinar as well because (1) students should be armed with the tools to identify mis- and disinformation, so they can be more knowledgeable and effective citizens of our country; (2) Because our students can help others on social media recognize mis- and disinformation which, ultimately, should reduce its power and sway over people in our communities.
