About This Lesson
This Science Video Worksheet is one page and has an answer key in a very simple format that is designed for quick correction.
This video is designed to help introduce Elementary School students and beyond to 7 groups of animals and some of their subgroups. It gives definitions and real images of almost all (we use cartoons instead of real images for several that some children have strong fear of: rats, snakes, spiders): insects, spiders, fish (distinguishes bony vs. cartilaginous), amphibians, reptiles (also gives example of major subgroups, which are: alligators / crocodiles; lizards; turtles and tortoises; snakes), birds, mammals (also gives examples of common subgroups: bovine, canine, cetaceans, equine, feline, porcine).
We made this video and it is free to access on our YouTube channel, which is designated for children's content.
