About This Lesson

Explore the celebration of athletes in ancient Greece and today. Learn about a life-size bronze sculpture of a Greek youth who was likely a victor of the Olympic Games held in ancient Greece. Closely look and discuss to learn about an object's history, compare depictions of heroes, and create a portrait of an athletic hero.
