About This Lesson

This lesson is based on groupwork with students working together with a textbook or other resource to complete a graphic organizer about the structure/entities of the Roman government, answer a series of short-answer questions about the plebeian revolt and fight for equality, and create a timeline (animated preferred) of the important events of the evolution of the Roman republic.

Note: if you're working with a standard-length class, it is unlikely you will be able to finish everything. The timeline at the bottom of the second page of the worksheet makes a great homework assignment.
