Bri received her BA from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2006 with a major in Elementary Education. She completed her M.A. from St. Mary's University of MN in 2009, followed with a certification in Gifted Learners from St. Thomas University of MN in 2016. Following her undergrad graduation, Bri was an elementary teacher for 14 years. She is now a visiting instructor at Gustavus Adolphus College in the Education Department teaching and supervising future teachers. Bri, her husband, and three children live in Mankato, MN. They love to travel, fish, swim, enjoy nature walks, photography, and movie nights.
Bri is a Strategies for Student Success National Trainer for the American Federation of Teachers (AFT). She is excited to expand her professional network to teachers across the country who are passionate for student-centered best practices. Her teaching and classroom philosophy is that everyone is a teacher and everyone is a learner. We have so much to give and learn from one another.
