Biography
I've been an educator in some form or another for over 10 years, beginning as a literacy intervention paraeducator for Denver Public Schools. I got my Masters in special education at metropolitan State University of Denver and have long since had a goal of bringing the concepts of art therapy and mindfulness to my teaching practices in a program that truly nurtures student growth. I recently moved to Durango where I work in the Exceptional Student Services department, focussing on elementary aged students with learning difficulties as well as social emotional needs.
