Clemencia Acevedo is a special education teacher at Don Pedro Albizu Campos (P.S./M.S. 161) in West Harlem, New York. She engages in evocative writing and professional research on teaching practices and digital literacy with #DrewTeach teacher writers at Drew University. Selected to the WNET PBS Digital Innovator 2020 and PBS Digital Innovator All-Stars 2020. She has been selected as Ed Tech Model Teacher 2020-2021 by NYC DOE,  recipient of New York City Department of Education Excellence in School Technology Award 2017, Digital Collaborative Literacies iHero Award 2016, EDTECH DiGEST AWARDS 2018 Finalist-School Leader and recipient of competitive Teacher Residency Scholars Program (TRIP)- Fordham University, Graduate School of Education, part of Race to the Top Obama Administration Initiative.  She is the author of Supporting All Learners with Instructional Videos and co-author of Understanding Plant and Animal Adaptations: Analysis & Media-Making | Eons | PBS All-Stars Lessons
