I am a dedicated ENL (English as a New Language) educator, instructional leader, and union advocate with extensive experience in K-12 instruction, consulting, and educational leadership. With over a decade of service in Buffalo Public Schools, she has been instrumental in improving instructional methods, fostering student engagement, and collaborating with educators to drive student achievement.
Beyond the classroom, I am a passionate advocate for educators and students through my active involvement in union leadership. She serves as an ATF union representative, a NYSUT Social Justice Committee member, NYSUT representative, and former Riverside Union alternate, working to advance equitable policies and improve working conditions for educators. Additionally, I contribute to the BTF Executive Board, Women’s Committee, the Minority Engagement Committee, and the Safety Committee, sitting on several interview teams representing the BTF while championing initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion, and school safety.
I hold a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Administration from Walden University, a Master’s in TESOL from D’Youville College, Certificate of Advanced Study from Buffalo State University in Leadership with multiple New York State teaching certifications as well as my superintendent certification. I am committed to fostering equitable learning environments and empowering educators, I continue to advocate for policies that benefit both students and teachers.
