I am a native of Peñuelas, Puerto Rico. I am a passionate educator and leader with more than 27 years of experience as a school administrator, curriculum leader and strategic planner for school improvement at the school, district and state level. I have served in a wide variety of educational roles such as classroom teacher, school principal, educational staff developer, central office administrator, college professor, and educational consultant. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education at the Secondary Level from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision and Bilingual Education from the Metropolitan University of Puerto Rico and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Puerto Rico.
Also, served as Adjunct Professor at Caribbean University (Graduate Program, Bachelor's Program) and Cambridge College (Graduate Program) in Puerto Rico. With the Pontifical University of Puerto Rico, I was a Member of Dissertation Committees mostly for Qualitative Research.
On 2018 I decided to go back to the classroom, to research and validate the theories I have been teaching all this years. Also, to get inside the reality of a classroom and the student's needs and dreams. At this moment I am a resident of Florida, EU and a High School Teacher (US Government and Spanish Teacher).
