Biography
Elaine Butler homeschooled her own 6 children, while teaching private music lessons and classes, before earning her masters degree in teaching 5th-12th grade social studies, with licensure for self-contained classes for K-12.
She teaches social studies and music at Summit Learning Charter and manages the Philip Foster Farm on the Oregon Trail, a small historic site that offers hands-on pioneer experiences for guests of all ages, including field trips for students discovering Oregon History.
