Biography
Karyn Sutherland is the Program Coordinator for SCAN at BeLEAF Survivors, having begun her role in July 2024. She brings nearly 15 years of experience working in mental health facilities, where she has created compassionate, supportive environments for vulnerable populations.
Karyn has an associate’s degree in human services with future plans for a bachelor’s degree in social work to continue to work with marginalized people. Karyn likes to spend time with family, practice yoga, and love her animals.
