Biography
As the Program Manager for the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), grades K-12,
- Managed and trained staff on program implementation with a focus on Health, Life Skills, Careers, and Education.
- Provided continuous assistance to staff to ensure that evidence-based curriculum was being implemented and understood.
- Responsible for implementing targeted outreach programs and initiatives at multiple Club sites.
- Responsible for involving targeted youth in at least once cycle of the Office of Justice (OJJDP) recommended evidence-base program and involvement in prevention programs.
- Train coordinators on policies and procedures to ensure all federal guidelines are met as well as following up with staff for compliance related issues. `
- Assist with program management and caseloads of enrolled Youth Milwaukee members.
- Continuously meet with coordinators and managers to ensure program goals are being met and to receive feedback on any issue that may arise.
- Conduct a community youth gang assessment.
- Facilitate intake and needs assessments of youth through interviews with youth, school personnel and parent/guardian while documenting information gathered on required forms.
