Hi!
My name is Mary Ross. I teach at Amundsen High School in Chicago's Lakeview-Ravenswood neighborhood. This is my 43rd year there with a total of 54 years in Chicago Public Schools. I've been teaching International Bacclaureate Individuals and Societies, i.e., social sciences, and Dual College Credit American History the last decade or so.
My interests are varied, but they tend to center on health and social categories. I enjoy being active in academic and community affairs. As a life-long citizen of Chicago, I attended public schools and the University of Chicago with some side trips to Loyola University. It's only recently I joined Facebook to commuicate with current staff and alumi of Amundsen. I find interesting thing about these friends through their postings and responses to them.
