Sara Kempner’s career mission is to uplift and empower individuals through access to education and voting. She has received national recognition for her voter outreach organizing and civic education expertise, including the prestigious Sallie Mae First Class Teacher Award sponsored by the American Association of School Administrators.
Sara Kempner’s current focus is on narrowing the voting turnout gap experienced by underrepresented citizens through U.S. Vote Foundation (US Vote). Most recently, Sara Kempner is the co-creator of US Vote’s State-by-State Resource for Voters with Disabilities and the You’re Eligible Situations - YES Campaign which she featured on NPR in September 2024. She develops and contributes to GOTV podcasts, social media campaigns, and digital publishing.
