Dr. Darnell is a teacher, author, international speaker, and he consults for schools, corporations, professional organizations, and national task forces. He has served on the Boards of the Illinois Everyone Reads Dyslexia Association, Learning Forward, and Illinois Staff Development Council. Bobb’s high-energy workshops are filled with "edutainment" and practical ideas that have resulted from blending research, tested practice, and humor. Rosalind LaRocque spends most of her time developing research-based modules to assist educators in the classroom around teaching, learning and student engagement, as well as providing support to AFT trainers around skillful facilitation of adult learning.

She assists locals in supporting members’ professional growth, providing pertinent trainings to support their evaluation process and providing guidance in union-district collaboration around professional development that supports the academic success of the whole child and educator well-being.
