We will look at the need for Social and Emotional Learning in the classroom in addition to exemplar texts from the following categories: Empathy, Positive Relationships, Recognizing & Managing Emotions, Problem-Solving, Grit & Perseverance, and Perspective-Taking. We will cover strategies on how to use these texts in the classroom and provide examples of activities to do with students.
