About This Webinar
Please join representatives from the U.S. Department of Education to learn about the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act’s Homeless Children and Youth (HCY) Funding. The American Rescue Plan Act included $800 million to support the urgent need of children and youth experiencing homelessness. ARP-HCY funds can provide critical wraparound and other supports for students experiencing homelessness who have been especially impacted by the pandemic. This session will provide an overview of ARP-HCY, information on evidence-based practices for spending funds urgently by September, and will provide an opportunity to ask questions to program experts. Please join us to learn more about how your State Educational Agency (SEA) and Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) can leverage and utilize these funds to support children and youth experiencing homelessness.
