About This Webinar

Join the team from Noggin and Share My Lesson with a special appearance from Christopher Jackson who played George Washington with the original Hamilton broadway cast, for an interactive experience where learning experts and creative producers will present exclusive new research on the role that media can play in helping families and educators discuss race and injustice.

“I want the teachers who have to go to work every day, under these incredibly difficult circumstances, having a room full of 5-year-olds is not a gift I possess, I couldn’t do that, so they’re already superhuman. But imagine walking into a room and they’ve got this kind of messaging to bolster what they’re already trying to instill in these kids. Without any cynicism whatsoever.” - Christopher Jackson

The team will share a new Nickelodeon/Noggin series featuring the music of Christopher Jackson (Hamilton) for children ages 2-6+. The series celebrates the challenges and triumphs of Black historical figures and leaders in Dance, Leadership, and Science. Participants will identify actionable ways to tackle tough-to-talk-about topics with the youngest children while exploring strategies to create inclusive classrooms.
