A simple fraction IS NOT a proportion! A proportion is a statement that two ratios(fractions) are equal. Your cards should say "The fraction of black is 3/4"

Made copied for the kids, but then discovered the cards were already matched up (except one had an error). If others plan to use, please scramble up sections before printing. Also with no directions, I assumed you put one picture with one ratio, with one fraction, there were some cards that had two answers white to black 2:1, then black to white 1:2. I found this activity confusing. It is a wonderful concept, but needs more editing before sharing. I would love an updated paper with mixed cards and some directions.
