The Superhero Unit - Comics in the Classroom includes individual detailed lesson plans. This is a unit based on comic books. There are a range of writing activities: short story; informative; biography and comic strips. Included is a selection of power-points to use in lessons

I worked on this theme with my ESL high school students this year. They really enjoyed it. I think the work you've done is fabulous and will definetly incorporate some of it in my lesson plan the next time I do it.

My class is working on the lightning thief module and I think would be a great supplemental activity.
Lots of fun with the opportunity to extend writing skills.
I've used this with 3rd and 4th graders and am about to use it with 6th. It's a great unit when they're being tested because it allows for instruction with structure, but is less demanding on them while they're burnt out.
Great Powerpoints - my kids will love doing this unit - fits in pefectly with the new Curriculum for Excellence!!!
