This is a great investigation requiring students to analyse some data in order to answer the question. They are encouraged to do calculations and represent the data in order to address the question. There are then a series of extension questions requiring them to interpret their findings in context. This would be a great informal assessment at the end of a unit on statistics. Thank you for sharing.
