      About This Lesson

      These are the last three lessons from a an 8 part unit, "Math Strategies/Literature Unit." Lesson 6 (the first of these 3) introduces and give students practice with another strategy called “doubles” plus one strategy. Lesson 7 focuses on modeling doubles plus one problem solving challenges. Finally,lesson 8 combines all other lessons and literature together by having the studentsmake their own problem solving book. Aligned to Common Core State Standards: 1.OA.1, 1.OA.6,
