This is a first grade ELA Unit, Lesson 8 out of 12. All About Living Things: Learning to Navigate and Create Informational Texts - Creating a Diagram Page. In this lesson, students will know and use the text feature “diagrams” in the creation of a page of their own book. They will see it used in a trade book, examine what is important, and demonstrate their understanding of the diagram page as they create one for their own animal. Aligned to CCSS: RI.1.6 , RI1 , W.6
