This is a fourth grade ELA Unit, Lesson 8 out of 10. Endangered A Study of Animal Population Change - Determining Supports from Text. In this lesson, students continue to develop their writing to include related facts, definitions, concrete details, quotations, or other information and examples. By acknowledging that these categories exist in writing, students are practicing with concrete tools to examine the effectiveness of what they have written.
