About This Lesson

This is a ninth grade ELA Unit, Lesson 1 out of 4. Immigration: An Ethical Dilemma - Introduction to Immigration. This lesson requires students to look closely at the cultural and political implications of immigration by responding to text-dependent questions. Students will also be making inferences, both implicit and explicit, using evidence from the text to support their answers.
