About This Lesson
This game is focused on reasoning about multiplying fractions, which aligns to 5.NF.5a. Students choose two factors - one whole number and one fraction from each shape below the board. They then identify the factor using reasoning (not solving) and justify their choice. If they are correct, their team can cover that space with a transparent bingo chip. Four in a Row in any direction wins. There are two versions of this game included.
