About This Lesson

Students will use prior knowledge of finding the least common denominator (LCD) and simplifying rational expressions by multiplication to transform these quadratic equations into equivalent quadratic equations in the form (x-h)2 = k. Students will solve these equations in which their answers will consist of rational, irrational, and non-real solutions. Students will continue to check their own solutions to verify their answers are correct.
