About This Lesson
Students will analyze a selected text from the novel "The Dark Is Rising" to identify plot development and to explain how the particular incidents in these texts move the plot forward. Students will learn to cite several pieces of textual evidence based on both explicit statements made in the text and inferences drawn from the text in order to support the analysis.
