About This Lesson

In this 80-minute lesson, students review what they learned about financial institutions.  They will be working in heterogeneous pairs while honing in on SEL competencies such as actively participation, generating ideas, and giving reasons to support thoughts, using a Financial Institutions worksheet.   At the end of the lesson, students will be required to complete an Exit Ticket that requires them to imagine you are a parent of a teenager who has just come to you to ask for a credit card.  Write a paragraph discussing the pros and cons of what you have learned about credit. The SEL aspect is what challenges did you address while working with your partner and how did you address them?
