About This Lesson
Using social awareness and interpersonal skills students will be given an article to study about the effect that immigrants have on the U.S. economy. The article centers on the Travel Ban that President Trump put in place. Students will be asked to write an Essay that would question them if they would be willing to risk their job or financial security to stand up for a cause they believe in? Why or why not? There is also an Exit Ticket that would require them to discuss whether they agree or disagree with the Immigrants’ stance on not working during the Travel Ban.
