About This Lesson
Empathy can be taught in many different ways, and this lesson serves to explore two different ways. Students will collaborate on a musical beat; through teamwork, connectivity, and creative expression, students will recognize that demonstrating empathy is recognizing your place and the place of people around you (Research has shown students who make music together demonstrate more empathy!). Students will additionally explore what it means to listen as you allow them to come together and create a list of questions for you!
