10 starters to use or adapt; each one is a slide of numbers and students need to find primes; squares or factors and then an animation will show which ones are correct. Maybe a nice settler as doesn't take much explanation once it's up.
An excellent resource which challenges pupils to 'find' different types of numbers (primes, squares, multiples etc) amongst others. The powerpoint is nicely animated and is clear throughout. This would be ideal to use as a starter with pupils of all ability.
