About This Lesson

http://www.freemathvideos.com In this video tutorial I show you how to find the zeros of the function. I so this by plugging in zero for the dependent variable, f(x), and then solving for the independent variable (x) using algebra. The methods I use to solve for x include completing the square, factoring, square root method, and quadratic formula. In this video I show you how to find the zeros of a function by using multiple techniques. Such as factoring, factoring by grouping, solving rational equations. I then also use the zero product property to find the exact zeros of each problem. I then provide problems and solutions for you the student to work out.
