About This Lesson
This lesson plan is designed to engage young students and assist them in learning about and understanding the effects of the Civil War including the assassination of President Lincoln, the plans for reconstruction, and the new amendments. This lesson plan is aligned to Common Core and National Council for the Social Studies standards and has been endorsed by the History Channel.
