About This Lesson

This lesson plan is designed to allow students to identify and discuss the effects of the Civil War on America. The students will learn about Reconstruction, the Reconstruction Amendments, and the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. This lesson plan is aligned to Common Core and National Council for the Social Studies standards and has been endorsed by the History Channel.
