About This Lesson

This is a sheet of six 3D shapes: cone, cylinder, cube, sphere, pyramid and rectangular prism. Run off 10 copies on cardstock and laminate. Pass out 3 cards to each child in the group and place the remaining cards in a pile in the center of the table. Check for pairs. Children ask each other for cards they need to make pairs, as in the game "Go Fish." The child with the most pairs wins. Appropriate for Early Childhood Education (Pre-K and younger).
