About This Lesson

A set of 24 cards with 12 different images of 3d shapes. Learners can either use them to play a game of Pairs or Snap; and could shout out the name of the shape when they match up. Aligned with Common Core State Standards: 1.G.2, Geometry, Reason with shapes and their attributes.

Standards

Compose two-dimensional shapes (rectangles, squares, trapezoids, triangles, half-circles, and quarter-circles) or three-dimensional shapes (cubes, right rectangular prisms, right circular cones, and right circular cylinders) to create a composite shape, and compose new shapes from the composite shape.
