About This Lesson

http://www.freemathvideos.com In this video tutorial I will show you how to solve trigonometric equations. We will explore solving trigonometric equations in the same manner that we learned to solve algebraic equations. First we need to simplify our equation by combining like terms and moving all of our trigonometric terms to the same side. We then can either look to using inverse operations to isolate a single trigonometric property or apply factoring and the zero product property so set up two equations we can solve. Our solution set will either be on the interval of [0,2pi) or follow all real solutions. Our answers will vary depending on the instructions.
