About This Lesson
This handout paraphrases the Ninth Amendment to the Constitution, has students brainstorm the rights in the first 8 Amendments and then brainstorm which rights they feel were left out, and then asks students to analyze the privacy rights protected by the 9th Amendment in three Supreme Court Cases: Griswold v. Connecticut, Roe v. Wade, and Planned Parenthood v. Casey.
