About This Lesson

Plants and animals have both internal and external structures that serve various functions in growth, survival, behavior, and reproduction. For any particular environment, some organisms survive well, some survive less well, and some cannot survive at all. Changes in those habitats affect the organisms living there. Through, modeling, observation and data gathering, students will unlock the phenomena of how plants and animals adapt to survive or become extinct over time.
