Add and subtract word problems

Just wanted to say thank you for sharing an excellent resource. Word problems excellently pitched - i will be using them during the first week back for children, in mixed ability groups, to discuss, solve and check and use it as some formative assessment of their problem solving skills.

Nice problem solving resource. I like the way that the jottings have been set out along with a checking strategy. You could definitely add to this or amend it for higher and lower abilities too.
