About This Lesson
Starter activity - students sort into a Venn diagram adjectives that describe humans and buildings with those that do both in the middle overlap. The aim is for them to see that they can recycle and re-use language in different contexts. It also helps them to make their language use much more creative - e.g. describing a person as 'dusty' is simple to do linguistically but poetic and evocative in the meaning it conveys! I intend to use this as a springboard into some poetry writing.
