About This Lesson
Students improve financial literacy by talking about income, then having a discussion of the typical expenses for an adult. Students are asked to to think about each expense and discuss what they would like to eliminate from their budget to stay afloat. At the end, the student will be able to estimate monthly income and expenses, budget incoming and outgoing money and maintain a budget and commit some income to savings. FinLit
