About This Lesson
A matching pairs activity. students should find pairs of cards with equivalent expressions. Not all the cards have pairs so the students have to be sure they have found definite pairs. Good as a group or pair activity.

This is a nice activity to use after studying simplifying expressions, there are 16 expressions and students must match them up. What is nice is that there are some red herrings which don't match but which prey on common misconceptions, ideal as a pair task to allow for some discussion. Thank you for sharing.
